A news app that includes Categories, Search, RSS Feeds, Weather, and more.
Central News was a single paged app made in UIKit. It was my first experience with APIs and allowed me to learn how to use URL querys and URL responses to show data on my app. I released Central News in 2021 as a paid application for $0.99 per download.
When I discovered the capabilities of SwiftUI in 2021, I decided it would be best to migrate Central News to SwiftUI, so I could have more control over the user interface. This decision was very beneficial for the app and I continued to add more features, such as RSS & Search. Central News is now supported on iOS, MacOS, WatchOS, TVOS, and Android.
